FOODBIOMES kick off meeting was held on 14-16 October 2021 in the city of Alexandroupoli in North Eastern Greece.
The meeting was hosted by the Project Coordinator at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Democritus University of Thrace. During the meeting, the progress and the programme of the three-year preparatory phase of FOODBIOMES were presented and all necessary committees and working teams for the management and implementation of the infrastructure were established.
All participants are thrilled to be part of this project and are looking forward to contribute to the creation of the first research infrastructure that will focus on food microbiome.
