Τhe Society for Microbial Ecology in Health and Disease, the RiskAC (KEDIAK), the Democritus University of Thrace, FOODBIOMES, and FOOD INNOVATION RI are co-organising the 41st INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE SOCIETY FOR MICROBIAL ECOLOGY IN HEALTH AND DISEASE (SOMED). The congress will be held on 14-16 June 2022 in Alexandroupoli, Greece.
The 41st Congress will bring together researchers with expertise in the many disciplines of Microbial Ecology, including but not limited to; Clinical Microbial Ecology, Intestinal Microbial Ecology, Dental Microbial Ecology, Food Microbial Ecology, Environmental Microbial Ecology and Water Microbial Ecology.
Topics for discussion will range from basic and applied Microbial Ecology, to lectures detailing cutting-edge research being conducted across this field. Special focus shall be given to COVID-19 and its relation to the human microbiome, food, and environment.
