FOODBIOMES is organizing a hands-on workshop entitled “Pilot scale production of novel functional food ingredients”.

This workshop will provide a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating field of biomass production, cell immobilization on food-grade supports rich in prebiotic fibers and application of drying methods.

The hands-on workshop will take place on 21-24 July 2023 at the Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics of the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), in Alexandroupolis, Greece.

Instructors: Yiannis Kourkoutas, Paraskevi Somalou and Grigorios Nelios.  

Language: Greek

Eligible submissions are welcome from food industry personnel, researchers and BSc, MSc or PhD students of bio-sciences.

Participation is free of charge but registration is required.
